1. Discuss & approve minutes of the previous meetings (5 min)

4. Rachelle Payne’s Resignation (2 min)
Since the last meeting Rachelle submitted her resignation as a Board Member and Preschool Teacher/Director and we regretfully accept. We appreciate Rachelle’s years of service to our community and wish her the best in the future.

5. Review and Accept Financial Reports for June (10 min)
Reviewed and Accepted

6. Resale Shop Updates (5 min)
Progress Report (Dorothy) Doing Great! Christmas in July and the Alpine Holiday Festival are coming up. Christmas donations were given for a small set up on the day of CIJ. Whatever doesn’t sell will be used for the Alpine Holiday Festival.

7. Preschool Updates (15 min)
Report (Melissa & Dorothy)

• • Teacher/Director Hiring Update- We’ve had 2 applicants- both had jobs
  • Teacher Benefits to consider- Paid Sick Leave, Retirement funds options/company match
  • Parent Concerns to address:
    • How to avoid cancellations and closures- Substitute teachers
    • Making an agenda for the Board to have more communication with Preschool

Parents- Having 1 preschool parent at each Board Meeting, Parent liaison or different each month. Having 1 Board Member at each Preschool Meeting- opportunity to bring up any parent issues.

8. Board Of Directors Page Update/Survey (5 min)

Melissa suggested we create an “about” page for the Board Members on the website. She would also like to create a Survey to look for new volunteers from the community. She will forward through email for approval from the other board members.

9. New Board Members (5 min)
Dorothy reports that she has received interest from someone in the community wanting to join the board. She will invite this person to sit in on the next meeting.

10. Building Usage Review and Updates (5 min)

$3464 Quote from Propane company- Moving the tank, upgrades to change our heating/ cooling system.
