Families are vital contributors in our cooperative preschool. By providing a safe, playful learning environment, we give children the opportunity to develop intellectual, social, and motor skills that prepare them for kindergarten and a lifetime of learning.
Our school is held in the Alpine Community Center. There are two separate classrooms, a playroom, a full kitchen, an outdoor playground, and a large meeting space for plenty of running and playing. Things that make our school unique: outdoor time everyday rain or shine, cooking classes, outdoor gardening, and special educational visitors such as the local librarian for Storytime. We have Chapel park 2 blocks away and walk to the park as well as have some outdoor classes. We have fun field trips every month.
The program is for children 3-5 years old in small class sizes. Classes are M-W-F from 8:30 am-12:00 pm. The fun curriculum includes lots of science and art. Tuition assistance is available for those that qualify.
