Alpine Community Center is engaged in a special fundraising campaign to raise $20,000 by the end of June. This coincides with our negotiations with the Monroe School District to transfer ownership of the property from the school district to the community represented by the Alpine Community Center.
You may have seen our new signs or friendly neighbors wearing "I support Alpine Community Center" buttons.

Also, your donations of nice quality, clean clothes and other items for the Resale Shop aid the community center's general fund to pay the heat, light, and insurance. Bring your donations during the Resale shop hours, from 9:00 to 1:00 on Saturdays or 3:30 to 7:00 on Thursdays. Or call Dorothy at 424-3123 to make an appointment. All proceeds from the Resale shop go toward operation of the community center.
Interested in the Alpine Co-op Preschool? Want to help support the program? We are looking for a responsible adult to serve as Preschool Liaison during the 2005 - 2006 school year. The Preschool Liaison serves as project manager for the preschool. To do so, the liaison supports the efforts of the teacher and parents as they run the school and supports the community center board of directors who are responsible for the overall project.
